These banners were supplied by South Ayrshire Council.  Their extra advertising lined Beach Road, Troon in the weeks ahead of the festival.

The music festival’s headline band for the weekend was Tickle Your Fancy from Tallaght in Ireland and they lifted the village again with their songs and the laughter! The function room was packed all weekend and the boys carried off the Open Mike, with many talented visitors and locals also taking stage.

(Left) essential workers all week-

end, Bell Howie and Nancy Armour in the Montgomerie Hall kitchen, and many other helpers to say thank you to.

(Below) cleaning the campsite bonfire and tidying the field afterwards.

More jamming sessions in and outside the Montgomerie Hall, the hub of the weekends’ activities.

Once again a bonfire at the campsite was the focal point for some amazing sessions that went on until the wee small hours of the morning.

With a variety of instruments, easy listening music and many a weel kent song, many visiting campers and locals stayed up to watch the sunrise.

A few people asked for the ritual burning of the three-piece sweet to be an annual event.

We had some very original songs written and performed by their composers in the Mongomerie Hall competitions. Very few entrants went home without a medal.

Although we were lucky to have good wether and sun all weekend, in case of rain we had 4 gazeboes on site, an idea that hopefully might be picked up by other festivals.

Concerts, dancing and a merry time in the Montgomerie Hall.

Jamming sessions in the gazeboes.
